The Balkan in Banff, Alberta has become one of our favourite Greek restaurants. We never pass through town without stopping in.

This simple treat makes for a delightful appetizer at dinner parties, but we love it so much we tend to indulge in it as an afternoon snack.

This is a delicious fall side dish. Wonderful with all kinds of meats. We love it as part of pre-made lunches with turkey meatballs.
